Sales Consultant – New Build Homes

Location: Aberdeen, North East Scotland

About the Role

An established and highly respected residential developer is seeking a Sales Consultant to join their Aberdeen-based team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving reservations and sales across a portfolio of high-quality new build homes.

This is a customer-focused position where you’ll manage the full sales journey — from initial enquiry and reservation through to exchange and legal completion — ensuring every buyer receives a seamless, five-star experience. You’ll use a consultative sales approach, strong negotiation skills, and excellent attention to detail while maintaining accurate records within the CRM system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with prospective purchasers and guide them through the buying journey

  • Demonstrate detailed knowledge of local developments, house types, specifications, and the wider property market

  • Accurately input and manage customer data within the CRM system to maintain a strong sales pipeline

  • Negotiate prices and present available incentives to secure reservations

  • Assist customers with selections of optional extras and upgrades

  • Maintain impeccable presentation standards across all sales and customer-facing areas

  • Lead customer handover meetings to ensure a smooth and positive completion experience

  • Conduct market research and provide insights to sales and marketing teams

  • Complete all administrative tasks accurately and efficiently

  • Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental policies

  • Adhere to relevant industry regulations including NHQC, GDPR, and the Consumer Protection Act

  • Strong negotiation skills and a focus on achieving KPIs and targets

  • Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail

  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

  • A professional, positive, and proactive approach


Additional Requirements

  • Previous experience using a CRM system is essential (Salesforce desirable)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Flexibility to work weekends and lone working when required

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
